Escort Ads are Never FREE on Craigslist!

You get what you pay for………………….

The escort industry is difficult enough without having to worry about
legalities and law enforcement.  It seems that this year has been
slower than the past years and yet everything else has increased in
price.  For those how do not have a separate job or career and do
escorting full time, it certainly can be sad state of affairs and it
might just push them into doing something extra that they would not
normally do because finances are so tight.

However, this has opened a door and made it easy for law enforcement
to create stings and make arrests in larger numbers than usual. 
There have been many articles and even television shows showing them
do just that.  It has even made the evening news in several cities.
Here is an article from Seattle which is a prime example of how easy
it has been made for them.

Seattle police use Craigslist to nab johns
Seattle police used phony ads placed on Craigslist in a sting
operation that over the past month led to the arrest of nearly 100
men and more than a dozen prostitutes, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer
reports.
The newspaper wrote that the sting followed operations earlier this
year in Everett, Wash., and Portland, Ore., where police arrested
women who had allegedly been advertising sex on Craigslist.

According to the Post-Intelligencer, Seattle's vice squad initially
"rented a room at a downtown hotel and, acting as customers, sought
the services of prostitutes advertising in weekly papers and
Craigslist."

Later, "police expanded the undercover operation, focusing this time
on men paying for sex. Officers rented a downtown condo, used photos
of female undercover officers, and advertised on Craigslist and in
The Stranger and Seattle Weekly" two weeklies with online sites.

"We’re going to do this again and again and again," Lt. Eric Sano
told the Post-Intelligencer, "so these guys will never know when
we’re going to do it."

I realize that posting ads on Craigslist have no monetary cost other
than the inconvenience of having to constantly monitor your ad to
make sure that it has top placement.  You would think that that is
the only price you pay to make sure your ad is seen. But I ask you,
for those unlucky enough to have caught been part of a sting set up
by law enforcement, would it be worth your while to invest some of
your very hard earned money to place a paid ad with an established
agency using some classy content and pictures and continue to do and
enjoy your choice of job…..Being an Escort!
